Validity and refresher
- each certification is valid for 2 years;
- refresher training opens automatically 90 days before expiry;
- reminders at 90, 60, 30, 15 and 7 days;
- renewal through refresher training and a quiz, without redoing the whole course.
Galyct Academy
Train, certify, keep skills current.
Each certification starts with mandatory online training, in short modules with progress tracking and quizzes, followed by a demanding final exam.
The four certifications
One certification per service family.
A person holding all four certifications, currently valid, is "fully Galyct certified". That is what counts for the Certified and Strategic levels.
Certified Operator
Posture management, action plans and remediation, vulnerabilities, backup and endpoint protection, reporting.
Certified Administrator
Galyct Pro deployment, onboarding, configuration, users and rights, connectors, day-to-day administration.
Certified Incident Operator
Incident qualification, handling and follow-up, playbooks, crisis coordination, timeline, report, escalation.
Certified GRC Consultant
Governance, risk analysis, compliance, GDPR and DPO, virtual CISO, continuity, suppliers, audits.
The exam
Demanding, without intrusive proctoring.

| Attempts | 3 at most, with at least 24 hours between attempts. |
| After 3 failures | Full retraining before any new attempt. |
| Break | An optional 5-minute break after 45 minutes, only between two questions. |
| Anti-fraud | A light approach: no webcam, no heavy proctoring. |
No correct answer and no missed question is ever revealed. The candidate gets an overall result, pass or fail, and the modules to review based on their gaps.
After expiry
- 30-day grace period: services already engaged continue, no new ones start;
- then the certification expires and the partner's 90-day remediation period begins;
- during those 90 days, a refresher and a quiz are enough to reactivate it.
Badges and verification
A badge you can verify with one scan.
- digital certificate with a unique identifier, issue date and expiry date;
- QR code built into the certificate;
- public verification page: name, certification, company, status and dates, never the exam score;
- individual and level badges in PNG and SVG, with their verification link;
- on a level change, the previous badge is publicly revoked.
